Scripture: Genesis 1:1-5, 1:26-27

In the beginning, God created the heavens & the earth and also created humankind. This has three implications:

  1. Every person is made in God’s image
  2. Our dignity comes from bearing God’s image
  3. Our duty comes from bearing God’s image
