Most of us think our problem is that we haven’t climbed high enough yet. If we could just achieve a little more, earn a little more, become a little more, then maybe we’d finally rest. But Mark 10 exposes how blind that makes us. The disciples are obsessed with getting higher while Jesus is trying to show them that true life is found in following him downward into grace.
