Christmas
Long ago, in a little town called Bethlehem, a baby boy was born in a stable to a woman named Mary. His name was Jesus, he was God in the flesh, and he came to save the world.
What makes the Christmas story so significant that we take time to remember and celebrate it year after year? Because it is the story of God becoming man, the incarnation; the one who created everything in the universe became a helpless baby named Jesus who would grow up to die on a cross and be resurrected from the dead in order to save us from sin.
Why? Because God wanted to adopt us into his family (Eph. 1:5). Christmas is significant because God put into action the most incredible part of his redemption plan, the birth of the Savior of the world in the person of Jesus, Christ.
