I grew up going to Hope and grew up in a Christian family. That’s how I learned about Jesus. I tried to believe in Jesus as a kid, but never really did. There was 5 years that I hated my family and God and I was very angry and bitter. I didn’t want anything to do with God at that time.
About a year ago I started reading the Bible again and started investigating it. In this past year I’ve taken some Bible classes and read my Bible more. I have become less angry and bitter. Now I believe in Jesus and He feels very real to me.
Getting baptized is my way of committing myself to God.
The verse that means a lot to me is Romans 8:38-39:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, or life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
